1 more sleep until I'm reunited my Daddy Dearest. He's been back over in the mines for a long haul this time so that his days off would cover 2 weeks on holiday for my birthday. I love my Dad. I miss the old guy when he's away for so long. 2 more sleeps in my own bed with my own fiancé. Been so busy the last few months working hard to save for all the things I want to do over in Phuket. The only time I've had the camera out was at the old quarry taking photos of my man on his bike, and may I just say, I have sacrificed my legs for his cause! I'm tired of working all the time. I'm tired of shift work. I'm tired of getting called in on my days off. I'm tired of not being taken seriously and being talked down to because of my age. I'm tired of not having a sleep pattern. I'm tired of not having any weekends. I'm tired of these ridiculous one day offs in the middle of 3 either way. In fact this roster, I have one day off in between 7 days in a row and 3. September 12 can not come soon enough! Bring on annual leave I say! Maybe even a permanent change of scenery next year... But for now I get about 5 minutes to myself in a day to snap away so nothing worth posting. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

So a lot has been happening since last time I posted. I mean a LOT! *The town flooded, but we weren't evacuated like some of my friends. *I've been working flat out lately because everyone is quitting so I've barely had time to pick up my camera. *My Mum is really sick and has to have back surgery so I've been taking her to a lot of appointments on my days off. *One of my friends was in a car crash and died on impact a week after his 21st birthday. RIP Jayden - Forever missed but NEVER forgotten. *I was technically single for a little over a week (grieving was not pretty) but after plenty of tears it all worked out and we're still hea
